Excellent media player.

Unless you are willing to format this disc and reinstall software I would not bother.
Very disappointed with this product. I bought it as a replacement for an old LaCie that included media player. However, in the first instance it was not recognised by my iMac. I may have missed the warning but if it is there it is not obvious. So I asked a friend to plug to a PC but that too did not recognise it. So, the next step was to research the internet only to find other customers complaining about the same problem. Their suggestion was to format the disc, reinstall the software and hope. This may be a simple task (for some) but the whole point for me in selecting this product was the idea that it would be a plug and play as it was with the Lacie product. Easy to use
This is not just an external hard drive it holds a massive amount of items. I store my movies, photos and music on this device which connects easily to a TV via an HDMI lead to give instant access to all file saved almost instantly on your TV.
