Almost perfect!
Well made for the price and certainly saves time over individually cutting mounts. Two improvements could be made however- When cutting mounts from a strip it is useful to be able to first shave the top of the strip so it is not too deep. Strips are usually sold in fixed lengths but this cutter at 180mm cannot take a full strip at 200mm ish. Also the trough for the cut mounts is too wide, meaning that the stop guide does not work below 30mm and many, many stamps require mounts smaller than that. A locking mechanism for the guide stop would be useful too. Currently cutting mounts for most definitive requires three hands!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A Poor Guillotine
I do not rate this a good product. It is a all black and it is not easy to see the markings (no colour differentiation). It does not cut well and I have ruined several mounts in cutting as tyhe blade does not go through properly. NOT recommended.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
