Can't see it during the day
This works great at night but during the day it's completely invisible. There are only 2 LEDs that light up and the sun wipes therm out. I'm sure that's to save batteries. This would be perfect if it had many more lights and one of it's settings was a day/night setting. Where you can choose all the lights for day use and at night just the 2 lights to save batteries. Third brake light for your helmet
I purchased this light for my Gmax helmet for safety reasons, especially at night. Installation took about 30 minutes, not too difficult, just take your time removing some of the plastic helmet pieces. Wiring to the brake light power wire was a little more time consuming. The light is barely noticeable during the day but at night it is very visible, All my friends think it's the coolest thing. Once you have "programmed' the light (very, very easy) all you have to do before each ride is press the button once. It goes in "sleep mode" if it hasn't been used for a while (several hours) All in all, I would highly recommend buying this little item if you own a Gmax helmet.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Comes with battery case
The description when I purchased said I needed to buy the case separate but this kit came with it. Now I have to see if I can return the case to the other seller as I no longer need it. For an all in one kit great price and installs in helmet in minutes. Transmitter is slightly more difficult but all you need is basic light electrical wiring knowledge.
