If you want to experience what life was all about for a generation of teenagers who grew up in the late 70s, 80s maybe early 90s, this movie is worth watching. Life was as much as colourful for boys & girls before the era of internet, fancy mobile phones, reality TV shows and McDonalds grabbed the imagination of the youth, this is a movie of the time when only real music bands ruled the charts, listening to music meant buying the album from a shop. If you were part of this generation you will certainly relate to the characters in the movie. Harry Eden wonderfully plays out the part of young Joe Scott who grows up to be an Hollywood actor and has reached a mid life crisis of sorts which drives him to visit his hometown somewhere on the east coast of England. He goes to meet his teenage heartthrob and friends. The teenage romance is brilliantly captured in the movie and candy moments between young Joe and Ruth are worth watching, the defining moment in the movie is the lip-sync by Ruth on the song 'If there is something' as Joe Scott dances in the silly manner...brilliant.Read full review
