Had to make adjustments...
I've been using a small (4L) Givi tank bag for years, so I am a fan of the tank lock bags. I needed a larger bag for an upcoming trip. This is a nice, quality looking tank bag, however... For some reason, Givi makes this bag with the locking ring rotated 90 degrees so that it will not fit on the tank ring on my Kawasaki Versys 1000. To be fair, this bag is designed for the Honda Africa Twin, but I still don't understand why they rotate the ring for this one bag... Anyway, I solved this problem by detaching the locking ring, drilling four new holes in in the bottom plate and bag, rotating, and remounting the ring. It took about an hour, most of which was spent carefully measuring so that the bag didn't end up crooked. It fits really well now, and is perfect for the tank shape on my Kawa. If you don't mind the extra hassle, go for it, but there are other bags out there. If I didn't already have the Givi ring on my tank, I wouldn't have gone through the trouble...
