Green Power Surge Protector
Bought as a gift for my neighbor. Two weeks later I saw the cable man's van in his driveway. The next day, he knocked on my door and thanked me. He lost all internet and cable. The cable man said he was hit by lightning and it popped the breaker on the surge protector. My neighbor had no idea there was a reset button on the side. Great for Home Theater Systems
This Monster power strip is great for those with a home theater system or PC workstation. If used correctly this power strip can save electricity. It should be noted however that it must be set up correctly if you do want to save power. I personally use this with my PC. When I power my PC on both screens and speaker system will power on with it. The key is to set up the PC to sleep after a desired amount of time and this will cause everything else to power off when the PC sleeps. If you're using with a TV to power everything on it is recommended to set a timer on the TV to turn everything off with it. The cons with this strip is you can not turn things on if your main isn't on. Also for the 650G model it only has 1 always on socket. Monster does however make other models of this strip that have more sockets. Overall I would recommend this strip since it can save power if set up correctly and if you use these throughout your house you might see a slight difference in your power bill.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Very nice quality and very sturdy the kind which you expect with the monster name attacked to it.
