For all the nutcases and disasters which plague this town, I want to move there. Each character, overbearing or embarrassing, sneaks into the consciousness of the viewer and nestles there – except Wil Wheaton who is wonderfully obnoxious an odd tonic to the lovable sincerity of the rest, even with the roguery of Zane. Ferguson leads the charge into adventure with aplomb and homey humour, though the device of having him provide commonsense solutions to the trouble a town of geniuses keep getting themselves into does wear a bit thin over the entire series. Erica (once men get over the drooling) can be seen as a brilliant gung-ho character who evolves seamlessly and the rest of the cast deserve individual and glowing praise for aiding in this unique example of world-building. I even came to like the Fargo character who only grated on my nerves in his appearances in Warehouse 13. Problems? It doesn’t go on forever.Read full review
