Mercury music prize winner Roni Size & Reprazent rework classic cuts from New Forms. Some of the changes are very subtle-however it really makes you listen to the structure of the songs & reappreciate them. Way, Way ahead of it's time-the original album will stand the test of time & this can stand with it as an extension or companion piece.

A superb retake on this classic album. A worthy addition to any collection.

Got a huge kick up the ass by winning the mercury which got them the exposure and a whole host of people buying the album who never would of touched it. Since drum n bass was born in the early 90's Roni Size, Krust and Die have made a whole host of killer tunes but the trouble is they are not on this album. The whole point i suppose was to try something new (new forms), but for me it just gets lost somewhere along the way like alot of the more commercial albums. Its not a terrible album but its not great either.
