This 2-6-4 MT4 tank chassis was just what I needed to get my loco running, as the MT4 tank loco that I bought on here had a clapped out motor. With this chassis it was easy to swap out the faulty one and fit this one in its place. It runs beautifully now.

Hornby Dublo - Still working after 50 + years
It is amazing how these models which are over 50 years old now still work; just alittle TLC and they go on running! Also they remain excellent value when compared with today's equivalent models which are unlikely to work on 50 years time! This model reviewed just needed attention to the magnet and a good clean!

best loco ever built
I saw this loco on line and purchased it for spares but when it arrived it was in perfect condition so I decided to add it to my collection,this is my 55 2-6-4-t both Hornby and wrenn they have all been restored and re-numbered when I tested it it took of like a rocket I was well pleased and for the price it was a bargain(I think that I had better stop buying anymore as I have run out of numbers)my mate once said why don't you buy the whole class of 155.
