I'm using this for tie backs for our hurricane shutters.
I had been searching for something to serve as a tie back for my accordion hurricane shutters. It needed to be in white, various lengths, easy to install, and affordable. My first choice would have been velcro with a buckle on one end, but, these were in a limited number of lengths. Also, the cost was substantially more. Here in Florida, we have some really nasty rays that will eat up plastic faster than your hound can lick up food that hits the floor (the sun is nice, but severe). I am sure that the weather will also ruin the velcro I purchased here, but, meanwhile, it looks nice, and I know where I can find replacement velcro.
