    Who would not live Lonesome Dove?!

    We have 4K equipment and this Blu-Ray is the bomb!! It was perfect on our 75” tv. Hoping it will work on the 85” when it arrives. Picture quality was super clear!! I saw the regular DVD and was fast asleep. On blu-Ray, with 4K equipment it was the bomb!

    Disc 1 worked great. The parts on Disc 1 were very good. Disc 2 did not load and I tried it on three BluRay players.

    Fantastic edition of a fantastic movie

    Lonesome Dove is one of the greatest Westerns and films ever made. This edition is fantastic: it restores the film to higher quality and sets it back in the widescreen it was originally shot in. The special features are okay, but the real gold is the widescreen and higher-def quality of the fantastic film.

    Based on true story

    This movie is based on Goodnight and Loving, their cattle drives and the men who rode with them. They are all buried in Weatherford, Tx. Again the events are all based on true events not movie magic.
