My grandson loves playing this game. He says that the graphics and sound is awesome.

It was like a good basic fighting game with lightsabers. It was a little repetitive but good. I wouldn't spend a whole lot of money on it though.

SIMPLISTIC CONTROLS? Aw man... too bad this game didn't come out later when wii motion plus hits the scene. I would much rather want to angle my saber precicely as I want to. There was a Light Saber Toy Video Game thing that came out a couple Christmases ago. A toy light saber and a 2D sensor (one single sensor as opposed to Wii's two sensors for 3d action). It was 1st person and it actually worked fairly well. I'm surprised they haven't taken that approach yet for a starwars game on the wii. I hope to see one when Wii MOTION PLUS becomes the norm.
Brilliantly executed, this game was developed from the ground up for use with the wii remote. Being a huge Clone Wars fan, I was really interested in the idea that this game claims to allow us to play through the pilot movie and the first season of this, most intelligent and action-packed new series in the Star Wars universe. I bought the wii for my wife, and have never even tried using it before. No worries - as Anakin gave me a really cool Padowan's tutorial since I told wii(the game, actually) that I was a total noob. Next the action ensues with the most thrilling of the lightsaber duels from the pilot movie and then seamlessly works into the season episodes. The wii remote is definitely the proper tool for simulating lightsaber action! Clone Wars graphics, voice acting, dueling styles and story lines make for a highly entertaining game environment - and this game really does it right! I certainly hope to see this continued into the rest of the series! I haven't finished the single-player campaign yet. I have seen a YouTube review that demonstrates that the game gets even better once you start dueling it out against a friend in multi-player mode. I can't wait. Now that the price is this low, whether buying new or used, there really is no excuse NOT buying this game anymore. Use your wii remote to simulate lightsaber action: Each of the Jedi have their own unique set of special moves that actually play out just like the Clone Wars counterparts perform. Use the "Z" button on the nun chuck to give your saber strike some "Force" assistance!!! Use your wii nun chuck to wield the force! Obi Wan has huge knowledge of the force... but any of the Jedi characters are good with it. In its most basic form, you can hold the "C" button to pick up part of the surrounding terrain. Now shake the nun chuck to Force-Throw the object at your opponent! "Z" + Shake performs a Force Push against them. With practice, you quickly learn the ways of the Force and become a Jedi Knight - and who doesn't want that?!!!! The individual nuances of each of your favorite Jedi are incredible. This game really helps fans of the show to get even more from these wonderful peace-keepers of the galaxy. From idle chat to stylish lightsaber finesse, this game really brings our Jedi to life! Lucas Arts, Please continue this game. I'll quickly purchase each and every continuation of this game that you could possibly create - it's THAT GOOD!Read full review
The Thrust Master Light saber are well built and have a nice size to them but are not to big. I will say that they could of went the extra mile and made the tubes that light up the actual color instead of using a piece of red/blue plastic transparent wrap that slides off during intense battles. I had to take the Light Sabers apart and slid the plastic wraps down and then rescure the two halfs down w/ the plastic wraps between so the wouldn't fly off. Besides that they are great. If you are a fan of Star Wars I would suggest u give them a try. J.J. Johnson & Son Cheyenne, Wyoming

Very fun game with lots of action and playable characters. The graphics and background environments are awsome. The game play is a little redundant. You get to do the same things over and over and over again, but with that aside, its still quite awsome. I almost dislocated my shoulder the first time I played as I was swinging my lightsaber wii remote holder like a maniac. By the way, that thing is awsome, pop a few batteries into them and the glow. One glows red and the other glows blue. Turn off the lights and swing those things in a fury of blue and red haze.
I must admit I am a Star Wars geek. I grew up in the late 70's & 80's seeing them all on the big screen. When I heard about this game I got excited for two reasons. My daughters and I had just bought a Wii three weeks earlier and we all like to watch Clone Wars together on Fri nights. I guess that makes us all Star Wars geeks! Anyways I was dissappointed in how they blew the opportunity to make this a really great game. With the week controller they could have it mimic your movements of the light saber similer to golf or boxing on the stock game CD. Instead it reminds me of the old Karate game of the 80's where you had to move the two joysticks in patters to achieve a particular move. This game also should have been from the eyesight perspective, kinda like some racing games where you are looking out the windsheild. Instead you are watching your character in full body at all times. It was a let down for me.Read full review
My kids loved this. I have 9&5 year old boys. My 9 year old breezed through it in a few hours and beat it but still enjoys playing with his little brother. I got the light sabors to use with the game and they didn't seem to stay together very well. My older guy didn't really want to use it but the 5 year old really liked it. I bought it because they asked for it for christmas and I am happy I did.
This is a good way for me and my kids to have light saber battles without beating the piss out of eachother with hard plastic fake light sabers. Real good, thanks!
