Very well built high quality CD recorder.
Makes amazingly good CD copies. I've tested it with a special CD that will only play is copied discs are bit for bit duplicates of the original. The duplicate played perfectly confirming that this machine does make absolutely bit for bit copies. The built-in hard drive lets you load CDs into the machine, pick the songs you want to take from them and record them together onto a CD if you like. It also makes fine CDs from the analog inputs. I've taken books on tape, recorder them onto the hard drive, added track designations to each separate short story in the collection and burned them onto CD for playback in my car. It's so convenient to have each short story as a separate track on the CD for quick access. The operating system is somewhat primative, but the machine was built in the dawn of the CD recording era. Incredibly well built machine (weighs a ton!). No wonder it still works perfectly after all these years!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
