    It performs well. being a used piece of equipment I expected some visible were but it looks and performs great. I am not however using it to record so I don't know how that performs

    I need a remote in order to the use the VCR!!

    The eBay business in Wenatchee, WA did not include a remote for the Toshiba 4 head VHS recorder. Without the remote the Toshiba BCR is worthless!!!

    Works when cleaned. Eats tapes.

    This machine is about what you would expect from something that old. It started eating tapes as soon as I put a tape in it. I worked on it and got it to play. But it has to be cleaned every time a tape is put in it. I leave the cover off to monitor what it is doing while in use. I only use it to make DVD's from the tapes. I doubt there are many out there that are any better given the age. So I guess I got what I expected.

    Toshiba VHS Recorder

    Item was delivered with a cassette tape in it. Plugged in and tape would not eject. It took several times, finally came out but had chewed up the tape that was in it. I didn't use for the fear of my own tapes would be ruined.
