Listen to your favorite CDs or mix and record your own with the Sony RCD-W1 recorder. This CD player and changer holds one disc for playback, and another for recording to a CD-R or CD-RW disc. Your digital audio CDs go into both of the decks of the player. Deck A offers the CD player function, while a CD-RW or CD-R goes into the B deck. This tray offers all functions, including recording and playing of CD-RW products. After finalizing the disc, the manual recorder opens the tray so that you are able to extract it. You can also press the deck's ergonomic button to eject the disc. The device has high-speed dubbing to allow you to record discs quickly from a variety of other sources, such as a radio or tape player. Another notable feature is the player's ability to connect to two receivers. These connections allow you to listen to different tracks in different places in your house at the same time. This type of audio recording unit also accepts digital optical in. This connection works with a digital component such as a CD player, DAT deck, or an MD tray. This flexibility allows you to enjoy and record music across multiple formats.This Sony RCD-W1 has two audio connecting cords that plug into the back of the unit and attach to your receivers. It also offers audio in and out jacks for connecting amplifiers. This allows you to use the player to play a CD and enjoy the sounds from anywhere in your home. With an amplifier, you play and record music simultaneously. Its power cable is polarized and makes use of standard U.S. 120 volts of alternating current. The Sony recorder measures about 14 inches long by 16 inches deep by 6 inches tall. It weighs about 12 pounds.For convenience, all of the connections are located on the front of this RCD-W1. It also includes a 3.5-mm headphone jack. The CDR automatic music sensor allows you to customize every recording that you make. Select a single track or choose several to record. It allows you to choose the order of the tracks as they are recorded onto the new CD-RW. Its other analog features allow you to pause, stop play, and go back to the beginning of the current or preceding track.The device's wireless remote control makes it easy for you to change tracks and control the volume. The remote operates on two AA batteries. This model also allows you to set the start time for recording. If you need to be away from the Sony RCD-W1 recorder for a while, this allows you to get work done. The high-speed recorders also come with owner's manuals. The manuals explain how to operate the optical players and how to care for the discs.
