The Surround Air Multi-Tech XJ-3000C air purifier offers big performance in a small package. At only 15 x 13 x 7.75-inches, this Surround Air purifier is effective in areas up to 500 sq ft under normal environmental conditions, or 250 sq ft in highly polluted environments. A three-speed fan allows users to customize the filtration level, and a timer option allows the purifier to be set for 1, 2, or 4 hour intervals. This Surround Air Multi-Tech XJ-3000C uses six distinct air cleaning technologies. First, an anti-bacterial pre-filter removes large particles to extend the life of the other filters. A true HEPA air filter system removes dust and allergens, while a germicidal UV lamp destroys germs, viruses, bacteria, and fungi. An activated carbon filter removes odor and smoke, and an ionizer enhances cleaning performance. Finally, a programmable sanitizer neutralizes odors, though it can be turned off to eliminate ozone production, a nice feature for users who may be ozone-sensitive. The Surround Air purifier is designed to be largely maintenance free. The pre-filter, charcoal filter, and HEPA air filter only need to be replaced every one to two years. The UV lamp needs to be replaced annually. Minimal filter costs plus low energy usage mean a lower cost of ownership, and the high-efficiency designs allows it to perform at comparable or better levels than higher-priced competitors. I have owned an identical unit for 12 years and have loved it. Purchased a second at some point in itme and it is equally great, but eventually after constant use the buttons started to wear out and became very hard to turn on. Sweet relief!
I am so grateful to received this air purifier at an excellent price. My bathroom and kitchen get a steady supply of smoke from various noxious substances from the apartments surrounding me. The stench that permeated my apartment left me on the verge of psychosis! I keep this in the bathroom doorway. I have a fan going in every room of my maybe 600sqft apartment. My kitchen on the OTHER side of the the wall where I keep the machine is completely clear of odors. I thought I would have to get another for the kitchen alone but this one machine is cleaning the air beautifully. If you live around heavy smokers,tokers,and addicts and you can't bear to breathe in whatever toxicity is being expelled from their bodies. Get this!!
