I've used the one I bought new several years ago each Christmas to make my family's favorite Spritz 'bar' cookies but the plastic tube cracked so I needed to find a new one. It is battery operated so you need to use fresh batteries to keep it powered up. I've always liked the super shooter. I cracked the edge of my plastic barrel by mistake. I was looking for just the barrel. I found this one for a reasonable price. Making spritz cookies is sometimes difficult but I believe this makes it easier once you get the hang of it. Fun way to make cookies!
I bought this one to replace the one that I had for 30+ years. I was devastated last year when the motor burned out. 30 years of usage speaks for the quality of the product.
