This stops the very annoying opening of the tailgate when you lean in the back, very easy to fit, pop off the plastic caps take out six self tapers and remove the trim take out the old cover and refit the new one all done in less than ten minutes and the fault has gone as you have to press the button for the lower tailgate to open now.

Fits nicely (as per previous review) really easy when you take the plastic trim off. Hardest bit of the job is carefully taking the rubber screw covers off!

Perfect! JLR should have fitted it as standard. Stops my dog pushing the button himself. Rubber is still a wee bit stiff, hopefully will soften up with time. To those who say "it doesn't fit" - it fits perfectly; you need to take off the entire top cover (six screws under the caps) and make sure the locating lugs are fully engaged. 5 minute job.

I got a 2010 Range Rover with the lower tailgate button sitting inside the black plastic trim strip. Everytime I touched it, it released! Found out it should have a rubber cover - and found this genuine LR one, took seconds to fit by REMOVING the black trim piece and attaching it to that. Now the tailgate releases only when pressed.
