Good solution for problem leaks.
The fitting is a mushroom slot head bolt rather than a machine screw as often in other kits, this means there is a better chance of a good seal between the bolt shaft and the inner conical seal and less chance of a leak down the thread of a machine screw. The conical inner washer / seal is made of a much harder rubber / nylon which means there is less spread and distortion when the cistern through bolt is tightened onto the bowl as is sometimes needed when retro fitting to an original installation to match up with existing holes on a wall. I added a 6mm SUS repair / penny washer (not supplied) between the through bolt and inner conical washer to ensure the best possible load spread. The through bolt and intermediate cistern securing nuts supplied are passivated mild steel, I changed the nuts for SUS, the bolts will corrode eventually but hopefully the sealed areas will remain in good condition, cover the bolt heads in silicone sealant to minimise the chance of corrosion within the cistern.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Highly recommended coupling kit.
Just the ticket to fix a broken, plastic pair of coupling bolts. Nice finish on the bolts; Looks like they won't rust but greased them anyway. The plastic cones are very slightly rubberised and compress nicely to prevent any possibility of a leak. Very happy with the results.
