Pleasantly surprised...a good product.
I was a little dubious about trying this for a pair of black patent shoes, having tried various scratch coats before with poor results. But having read a previous review and following the instructions , I applied a little at a time to build up the area where the patent leather coating had come off, taking care not to over paint the 'good bits' until the final coat.Applying one coat and leaving it to dry thoroughly before applying another. I can honestly say I was really pleased with the end result. I would advise anyone trying to coat a very small area, like a scratch to use a really fine brush as the brush supplied may be a little too big for the job. I used a little rubbing alcohol to clean my brush afterwards. Just take care not to leave the brush out of the fluid for too long as it does dry fairly quickly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Absolutely amazing product. I saved my daughter's £170 Dr Martens patent leather boots from being consigned to the bin with a little time and patience. Take time to smooth out the damage with the emery paper supplied and apply the product with the in-built brush. If the result still shows some blemishes just 'rinse and repeat' until the desired finish is achieved. Best done with both the product and shoes cold as the product dries very quickly. Kids scuffs!
My daughter had some school shoes and pretty much battered both toes. I thought i’de try this product to get us through the winter and I have been blown away by the results! This is scratch repair but I just pasted it on all over the whole toe as they were through to the leather.
