Jewel of a cable
The are some professional reviews online to read so here is a simple layman's review. Put against two levels of cable, DH Labs Q10 Signatures and the Cardas Neutral Reference, Zu Libtec faces the challenge and lives to stay in my system. In my system, Nak PA5, Bryston B25, B&W 685 and PS Audio D3 DAC. Against the DH Labs, Zu produced tighter bass, greater depth and slightly more transparency. Instruments on classical music were better defined. Q10s were equal if not slightly better in exposing more information in the music without being too sterile. On jazz, the Q10s, one can here the shimmer on the cymbals and drums with greater definition and had a slightly longer decay. Against the Cardas, Libtec was more open overall. Cardas cable are known to lean towards the warm side, however slight in this case Libtec was bass tight here also but lacked the extension or weight of the Cardas. All else considered, it's a contender with other cables in it's original price class.
