    Rear screen repair

I bought this to repair the rear windscreen de-mister on the car. Worked well on small areas (up to an inch and a half).Quite difficult to paint on, masking tape didn't work. Didn't work so well on longer sections. Needs at least 2 coats for best results. Pretty good product

  • Most critical review

    Very little for your money

My warning for you with regard to this item is the quantity. The bottle is only about 25mm tall and the content is apparently about 2 grammes, which is only about 1/4 of a bottle. In my opinion, using a silver coloured label on the bottle is, at best, misleading as it gives the impression that you are getting a full bottle of product.

  • Rear heat element repair

Several costs are needed and window must be clean. To make a neat job masking tape must be used. I had 2 out of fifteen bars working now all are working.

  • Not enough to do the job

The quantity of this product really isn't much. Comes in a minuscule little jar which is barely enough to fix one line of the heating element with. Also dries up really quick once you open it so you got to be fast or you end up losing even more product. I bought 2 of these and that wasn't even enough to fix a few lines. Better to just buy electrical glue which is better value for money and does the same job.

  • It works

It 100% works. Make sure to clean the area. Shake well. And then stir with brush. Then apply. I used blue maskig tape to make the lines. Then after removing it carefully. I used a small flat blade screwdriver to trim off excess. Looks very neat and tidy now my demister.

  • Element repair

Product works well, but needs good preparation. I repaired Land Rover defender rear screen, but took it out, warmed it and had it flat.
