Rescue in.. hornets out.
I was hoping the attractant would help us to use our open-air patio more, since, anytime we'd bring out the food, out would came three or four hornets. Once I put up the W.H.Y. trap and used one of the attractant packs in the lower section, by the next day, I had captured seven larger hornets. The next few days, I captured 9 more, then 6, then 8, but they were getting smaller and smaller in size -- I assumed that meant I was getting their numbers down. We are able to use our patio, sit in almost total bliss and enjoy food on the patio -- a first in literally years. I just have to make sure I "reload" the trap every two weeks with a new packet. This stuff works great. This is also the best price I could find and I now have enough to finish out the year, which in Minnesota, comes quick, usually around the end of October for us before freezing temps. Really works!
The packaging says it works for 2 weeks, and although that seemed like a short time of effectiveness, it brought in a lot if yellow jackets.
