A hand operated arbor press for any repair or production workshop. Made from high strength cast iron with rack and pinion rise and fall of the main arbor. The press is provided with a machined face onto which a component can be accurately placed or, alternatively, the press plate can be rotated to one of four positions to give a choice of aperture size. These have many uses, such as rivetting, pressing eyelets, installing or removing bearings, etc. Punches, inserters, or other tools/dies may be added to the end of the ram depending on the desired task. It has a travel of 133mm and a 25mm square arbor. 1 Tonne.
Fairly good quality, reasonable casting. I bought this to see how it would stand up to punching holes in coins for coin ring making. I have a video of how it got on, cliffsshed, on youtube. Will punch a 15mm hole in a coin with a handle extension and a lot of effort. For lighter workshop use it is a bargain for the money and was delivered in less than 24hrs.
It is a excellent arbor press, very strong and ridged, but light weight (I keep it under the bench when not in use ). It is great value for money, and I would recommend it to any one.
