The remote is great,instructions not so good. I could not find any in the instruction book or downloaded manual how to put the remote into pairing mode. In the end I went to YouTube and found it. OTT as a Stills photograph remote
Nice quality as always from Canon. I am using the BR-E1 with my Canon 800D but have yet to find little advantage over the cheaper RC6 remote.
