Saw a unit on TV and thought why not
After seeing the latest platinum unit advertised on TV thought I'd give this a go as was similar spec but much cheaper than the latest platinum one advertised by vax on TV. I was extremely surprised when it was indeed the latest platinum one that arrived next day, packed and box like new with all the same extras included except the manual but did find one after mucking around and downloading a few as it's so new the proper manual isn't yet available on the download site but the one for the model I ordered was and is exactly the same in how it works and goes together. Anyway it goes together easily, works a treat and cleaned the carpet really really well leaving it smelling lovely and fresh and only slightly damp and it dried very quickly. The machine is really easy to use, no harder than using an upright vacuum and unlike those old fashioned ones with a tank that fits on a hoover with a ball floating in the middle is much cleaner to use as well plus does a much more thorough job. Great bit of machinery at a fantastic price
Has brought my carpets up like new. Gone are the red wine splashes, dog wee patches I attempted to clean with just foam carpet cleaner which just left awful water marks, I emptied the dirty water container 8 times for 2 small bedrooms and the gunk and dirt at the bottom showed how much muck was in my cream carpets. Very simple to put together and use. I hate fiddly stuff or complicated instructions so I just watched a 2 min long YouTube video and off I started. Great Cleaner
Been after one of these for ages. Have a lively cocker spaniel and a cream carpet!!! Did not think this would be able to tackle some of the more ingrained dirt but I was wrong. This for me has been a great purchase. No longer have to pay the professionals to clean, this does just as good a job if not better. Does not leave your carpet soggy. Does a good job and good VFM
Does a good job of carpet cleaning - separate cleaning fluid dispenser is a good idea (saves waste). Cleaning the machine after use is easier than my previous Vax (although the brush bar is still hard to clean). Good water capacity and I like the option to rinse carpets with water after using detergent. Separate hand tool is good for corners and upholstery. The cleaner is well made, not in the least flimsy. However... make sure you get some practice in, the manual only becomes clearer AFTER you've tried it out!
