Finally inexpensive time & notifications only
Being a discontinued model got it into my price range. I have just wanted notifications (not steps, etc.) for some time and finally found it. Main use is to leave cell phone on desk and wear watch for both time and get notifications when in other part of the house. Good with reservations
Battery was doa for the analog portion of watch, but I was able to replace the battery and get it going. Vibration feature died two weeks in but I had another Notifier that the analog watch had died on and I was able to swap out the digital portion and get a working watch. Inexpensive and handy device !
For the price, it was a no brainer...Why would you purchase a regular watch when for the same amount of money you can get a smart watch that tells you the time, weather report, call notification, text notification, and endless app pairing capability. Since I have started wearing this watch at work, 5 people have decided to get one themselves. So far no problems to report and a single battery charge lasts all week long. Works
I tried a different, cheaper smartwatch, and was unhappy with it, especially the constant failure to connect. This watch does less, but does it reliably. Connections are reliable and easy. The display is hard to read outdoors, but that's not unusual. A must have for the deaf and hard of hearing
After trying several other similar smart watches, Pebble and others, I found that for my purposes the Martian Notifier is by far the best. Mainly because there is a lot of different possibilities for the vibration. Nearly all of the newer smart phones do have such a very feeble and barely noticeable vibration to be useless in this regard. Had to repair it before I could use it.
The lithium battery for the notifier and the button battery for the analog were both bad and had to be replaced. The button battery was pretty straight forward, but the lithium had to be soldered in place. I fixed it, but the average buyer would not be able to repair it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Just what I was looking for. Good appearance and notifies me by no-noise vibration across a readable little screen who is calling or texting me. It spells out the text. Both features allow me to wait until a more convenient time to take my phone out of my pocket.
