  • affordable and sounds good

This wah has a very vocal sound with no harshness. The only flaw is that sometimes there is no signal passing through the wah. At first I thought it was broken since there was no sound but then I learned if I unplugged the cables and plugged them back in again the pedal all of a sudden works fine. This has to be done routinely about 50 percent of the time so there's something not quite right but it's no big deal for me because it's still the besting sounding wah I've tried after trying many including the Teese wah, Dunlop, Dimebag, MXR etc. For sound I would give it 5 stars but because of the flaw I gave it only 4 stars.

  • sweet tone

I have tried many Wah pedals. Most have too much gain and treble. The BBE is fantastic rugged quality and I love the sound. One small issue is if you want to velcro the pedal to your board after you take the feet off, the screws don't fit the bottom plate.

  • Very musical wah

This is a very good sounding wah pedal. It can be adjusted from dark to bright. Construction quality seems good. There is no noticeable tone suck when the unit is off. There is a nice vocal quality to the tone when the pedal is at the mid-way position. I've had a few of the more common wahs, cry-baby, vox classic, and morley. This is by far my favorite out of the four I've owned.

  • Best Wah I’ve ever used/heard W/ one exception...

....that exception being my custom modified 90s CryBaby. I’ve used it since 2002 and couldn’t never find a worthy match. This BBE Ben Wah Classic A Halo Inductor is by far the best I’ve found on the market for the price and, it may rival and EVEN surpass my beloved, beat-to-sh**, CryBaby.

  • BBE 'Ben' Wha Wah Wah Pedal

I really like the overall throw (Tone Range) of this pedal. The fact that there is a "harmony" control on the lower right front side of the pedal is a terrific addition to an already very welcome sound. The pedal can be utilized with either a 9 V battery or power supply. The 'Ben Wah pedal is very easy to use expressive foot pedal movements to accentuate the Wah sound. Typical Wah and/or gurgling ( quick pedal travel from bass to treble to shift the Wah sound quickly in a rhythmic manner is just one of the delightful aspects of this pedal. Highly recommended. Truly achieves the "Archetypical" Wah "Character" sound of the 1960's in a very solid build format. 5 Stars!!
