They work well, so do bowls of water under desk lights.

And it is satisfying to see freshly caught fleas wiggle on the sticky. I knew they would work because for years I set out bowls of soapy water beneath incandescent desk lamps. They work too, are $15 cheaper, but spill and animals like to drink from them. Seriously, these should sell for 5-6 dollars; there's not much to justify their price. Mine came with a smashed bulb. No big deal until I discovered that 7 watt bulbs have been mostly supplanted with 4 watt bulbs. I eventually found a replacement in a closeout bin at a home improvement store and also bought the rest. (Use 7 watt because fleas are attracted to heat. 4 watts aren't as warm.) I like the convenience of these, not so much the price. I like keeping my desk lamp on my desk. And when it's time for new sticky, if they are still available, I might just opt for soapy water.

    Flea trap

Product works great. Very expensive for a couple of pieces of plastic. Sticky sheets are expensive as well and I go through 2 a week with 8 cats. Thats another 6 bucks a week. But it does work. I'm gonna make some, seems very easy might cost less that $5.00 to make ...............

  • Great flea trapper

I got this product because unfortunately my house was infested with fleas. I have already tried other remedies so I decided to give this a chance. I put it in my bathroom where I’ve noticed that fleas jump on your feet a lot and surprisingly it works very good. But for the price I would expect something sturdier but it’s pretty good for the meantime.

  • Definitely does the job!

I purchased this because I have had a flea problem. I give my pets flea medicine, but it doesn't seem to completely get rid of them. After several weeks my pets seem to scratch more and more when the medicine is supposed to last a month. I decided to try the Victor M230. After just 24 hours, I checked it not knowing what I would find. To my surprise, I found fleas! I will still give them the flea treatment from the vet, but I think I will get a couple more of these... one for the garage, and one for the upstairs. Whether it is condoms, guns, or a Victor M230, one can never have too much protection! I can't wait to see how many more of those little boogers decide to go into the light and finally rid my house of the those vermin forever!!!

  • Great Product for Okalhoma

This product has a 6 foot cord so I can place it under a table and not right next to the outlet. It has been working for two weeks now and while we did not see any fleas on our pets the trap is about 20% covered with dead fleas. The covered trap works well to keep the sticky pads covered and attracting the fleas but does not allow debris to get caught.

  • If you have fleas it should work

I bought this to see if I had a flea problem or not. I let this thing shine (which it does by the way it DOES shine, so much so you can use it as a night light) for over a week and the only thing that got stuck to it was a small lizard my kitty brought in. I was happy not to see any little flea critters stuck to it so can't comment on its validity for trapping fleas.

  • YES IT WORKS

Basically just a light bulb and sticky paper in a plastic housing. It definitely works. The first hour I had it on there was a TICK stuck to the bottom of it. If you are handy you could make one easily with a small clear Christmas bulb and some sticky contact paper......

  • It even caught a spider within 15 minutes of use!

For starters: The product arrived THREE DAYS ahead of schedule and was carefully packaged, with even the bulb intact! It was simple to assemble, and we set it in the middle of the living room. I must explain that we are a foster home for cats and kittens and that this has been, according to local veterinarians, one of the worst flea summers in a very long time. So, we were concerned about getting this insect problem under control. Well, within a minute, there were three fleas in it! Later, I saw that the number was increasing AND that it caught what looks like a small wolf spider! I approached the spider with caution, but it was caught and not moving a fraction! So, here I am at 1:30 a.m., and I'm astonished by the quantity it has gathered! I was so impressed that I ordered a set of three refills~nine sheets in all~so that we can continue using it throughout the house and the garage (the cats' "bedroom"). I plan to order at least one more trap, and I might buy a third!!! I am that impressed with this pest-control device at this great price. I don't agree with those who act as if it's shoddy or cheap; it's sturdy and easily dismantled and reassembled. Next, I'll be stocking up on bulbs because I trust this will be in use for a long time. It's also a cool nightlight=} AND, the cord is long enough to get to some remote sockets. We have tried a lot of flea-control approaches: powdered sage, plain old salt, "Cat Dust" (food-grade DE + herbs), and baking soda. For our cats, we use vinegar/water wipe-downs but would rather simply not have the critters attacking our "purrbabies". Also, we use dishes of water mixed with Dawn, but that's slow progress. However, in the hours VICTOR's flea trap has been in use, it looks like a party for fleas! WOW! I'm impressed! NOTE: I think this is the first product review I've written at eBay, so that's also saying a lot for this product.

  • Works well!

Within the first few minutes of setting up fleas were being attracted and this was in the middle of the day when they are least active. The unit is larger then I expected which means that the pad is of a generous size of 7 inches across. Well made of flexible plastic which means it would be difficult to dammage. Very happy.
