It only makes sense.
I previously used these in my former vehicle on my new door speakers. I must say, they make the difference. Also, it is like getting insurance for your new speakers. The amount of water that gets into the door panel, you might as well have something that helps with not audio, but also acts like a first line of defense from moisture. I would recommend these. I'm on round 2 for my new vehicle.

Not worth the envelope it came in.
Installing these in your doors will remove all low end from your front speakers. Its basically like putting your expensive, full range drivers under water. On a positive note my daughter does like using them as a hat so now they live in her toy chest.
