Economic, cost effective but a quite noisy appliance
*Updated review after 9 months use* As a singleton, I could have easily got by with a stand alone fridge with a small ice box but this is so much better. The cost disparity between the two types these days is now quite small. The 60/40 split provides plenty of chiller and freezer space, reasonably energy efficient but sadly, the hum in service is obtrusively noisy. It also intermittently pops and bangs internally too. Freezer has 3 transparent plastic tubs, (shallow, medium and deep) which provide a useful volume of freezer space. The chiller has 2 height adjustable glass shelves with a third, non adjustable glass shelf and deep transparent veggie box. Doors can open left or right, chiller door shelves are deep, you can store a lot on them. Internal chiller illumination is good. Item is OK for any self contained kitchen IMHO, but the noisy humming would probably drive you mad in a open plan studio flat or similar.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Small fridge/freezer
Bought this to replace a larger fridge for a letting unit and it is perfect in size for our requirements. I had to change to opening direction on the doors but this is not too difficult if a little fiddly. The unit is nice and quiet and appears well built.
