Almost what I wanted.
I ordered the fixture on Friday had it Monday 3 days ahead of time. Its sturdy,well built,just what I wanted except the lap didn't match my siding.I would return it but I guess i'll bite the bullet on that and just keeep it. It will cost almost $7.00 to return it. O well,this is the first time I have ordered something and it didn't work out for me. I would give it 5 stars but won't because of the siding gap not fiting.

okay
if you are replacing the existing box,it may or may not work well for you. if the hole in the siding is not in the correct place, the fixture may not mount well. I used it for dutch lap siding and had to made modifications to it to make it fit. There needs to be more products out there for dutch lap that accomodates large fixtures.

Just right!
This was my first time using this . I wanted something that would allow me to mount outside light without having to use a round weatherproof box , thus causing the fixture to protrude off the wall. I found it to be worth the money and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another when the need arises.

Injection molded plastic
It isn't filled on the back like all the other ones I've ever seen. Made installing a little tricky. But otherwise it is exactly what you'd expect. It does have a plastic look and sheen to it. It is meant to be painted.
