Brass Catcher
I have these mounts on several rifles. It's really nice to be able to snap on a brass catcher and not worry about having to pick up a bunch of cases. One issue I've had is that the mounts are in different places on different guns and I've had to pull the Velcro and loosen the screws to position the catcher for each one. My solution was to cut off the top Velcro on the catcher. Now it's easy to use the Torx bit to position the catcher on a different rifle. Get extras for multiple ARs
Only reason for not a 5 star is maybe it could be lower profile. Some mounting arrangements do not have enough space to allow attaching the catcher without bumping into the scope. I've got an Ar 10 that I've not found the right combination for. Being able to slide the mount back and forward on the catcher does allow for more options.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

WON'T SHOOT WITHOUT "IT" !
I have this Caldwell attachment on five AR's, of various calibers, mounted directly above the case deflector. I bought one complete set of bag and mount and shortly thereafter I ordered several spare mounts. Now I will not shoot without it. At the range, I unzip the bag and allow it to trap brass and drop them into a plastic bowl so the weight of empty brass does not deter accuracy and I don't need to dump frequently. Brass Catcherm
Works quite well. A vast design improvement over the older model that straps to the handguard. A little tricky to install on scoped rifles as the Scope turrets may interfere with the location of the clip on the rail. The wire frame only allows installation at one location.
