R2-D2 A FORCE TO BE RECKONED
I started out buying a used R2-D2. When I first started the used R2 it just didn't seem to be operating properly, I made this judgement based on hours of viewing YOU TUBE videos about the droid. Sure enough after about 45 minutes of putting the droid through it's paces it started falling into a loop when turning it's head to the right, the loop being - head turns to the right and a repetitive clicking and beeping without any other movement. Then I purchased a BRAND NEW R2. He has been working fine, and providing a lot of entertainment. The droid does NOT have obstacle avoidance in it's program and there doesn't seem to be any coherent response to vocal commands. It would have been nice if there was a video capability. You must heed the warnings about the handling of the droid ie.- DO NOT FORCE MOVEMENT of head and legs. Overall MUST HAVE for STAR WARS fans. ENJOYVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Action packed, remote controlled droid with movements, sounds, and lights.
I was concerned because the "Try Me" button did not work but it turned out to be the temporary batteries inserted by the manufacturer. Before I made the purchase I did an extensive web search and this radio controlled droid was by far the best out there. The product did not let me down because the remote is loaded with various control buttons and two joysticks that control many movements, sounds, and flashing lights. One of my favorites is the "Star" button. You can program up to 30 sequences of the remote's buttons. R2-D2 does everything but mow the lawn and wash clothes! One drawback easily overcome is it needs a smooth surface to operate on and does not like carpeting.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

R2-D2 Interactive Droid
Huge STAR WARS buff and had to have this for my collection. The programming instructions were somewhat vague in its description, but just keep on trying and you will be rewarded. Every time my dog hears R2's chatter, he becomes a love sick puppy all over again and I'm amused at him becoming enamored with his new toy.
