More than enough
I have a 2500 gallon pond, and had used many smaller "pond pumps" and either the pump would go in one season or the stones would constantly clog. This pump is much bigger than the pumps I've used and with the heavy sinking hose and diaphragm diffuser it is a much more professional set up. Only had it running for a couple of weeks now, but puts out a ton of air for the size of my pond. Only time will tell on the quality of the pump itself. But for now I am very happy!
