Great product and easy to use.
This product was used on my foot, after having my big toe nail removed. Initially it held the dressing in place, as the wound healed, I was able to only need the Mefix tape to keep wound clean and covered from any infection. Since then I've used it on many occasions. Best surgical tape ever, non-allergenic
I found this tape to be the only tape which conforms (more than the others) to my body. I also found that this tape stays put even after a day of hard work, which causes hot sweaty feet. I would also like to point out that it is marked off in 10 cm portions for ease, and it has a backing paper which is divided in 2 parts along the length of the tape enabling you to reveal one side only to make positioning easier. Have previously used Hyperfix but the last batch I had was sub standard. Tried Mefix as their Mepore dressings are excellent; Mefix is far better and at a very good price. Great Adhesive Tape.
When you work out how to detach the backing this stuff is amazingly sticky. Holds dressings in place securely even when it gets wet ! It's not a waterproof adhesive all the same but my dressing was given the OK to get wet as long as I changed it after I showered.
