This product contains dextrose, but they do their best to hide that fact from you when you're reading about it. Dextrose is a kind of monosaccharide, or sugar in plain English. It's the kind of sugar found in your blood stream on a regular basis. So if you're looking for an alternative sweetener in order to get away from sugar ... sorry!
