lovely colors; flimsy packaging
this is a difficult item to review. the colors are beautiful and offer a wide rainbow of choices to play with in creating fun and interesting looks. however, the colors are housed in a flimsy package made of cardboard and paper which will not hold up after much use. the magnetic closure is already bending at the edge, so it will soon not have a secure closure. not sure how important this is for me, as i am housebound and don't worry about keeping it protected in a purse as i travel about on my day into evening with my make-up. this being said, i would recommend the product because the colors are great - different from the majority available, which makes it special and worth owning. just be very careful in how you open, close, hold and manipulate the package in order to protect it and keep it going for as long as it possible. i do believe, at the point that a tear, break, or whatever damage occurs to the case, there will be some make-do correction i'll be able to take to secure the package and continue to use my beautiful eye colors. they are that nice.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great neutral colors without all the glitter!
This eye shadow set is very nice with excellent colors for a hint of color while remaining true to neutral eye colors. This should last for awhile seeing that I don't use it during the day. I reserve eye shadow for evenings out. Less is definitely more when you hit a certain age. I do use some basic products but I won't pay ridiculous amounts of money on a product that doesn't do anything more than drug store make up. It's all owned by the basically the same people. Oh! So many options...Best matte color palette ever!
I love, love, love the color choices! You can achieve a "custom color" with this product. Wears like a dream. Darker colors, when applied with water, fine tip brush, make excellent eyeliner. Product hard to fine as not being manufactured to my knowledge anymore. It is costly at this point and if you don't use all the colors for some people a waste.
