i'm a big fan! mine is still fairly new...thus, quiet in operation as can be..we shall see after a few years of usage if it remains the same. on 1 setting..it is so quiet, you don't realize it is on...higher setting, of course you start to hear fan motor, but very much tolerable! simple lightweight design and functions as it should...oscillation, tilt back feature will cool any room fast! awesome for apt. use...the turbo mode helps get rid of cooking smell faster!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Quiet, moves a lot of air, durable.
I bought this model of Rowenta fan about three years ago and it has been perfect! The motor started making noise on another fan, so I bought a second Rowenta VU2531.
