Fantastic little Vice
I needed a small versatile Vice for my Glass art work, some of which is very small, I:E pendants and earrings, which are very fiddly to hold while shaping etc. For my requirements the Vice is just about perfect, to make it completely perfect, the vice would come with soft rubber or felt inserts for the jaw to lessen the possibility of scarring or fracturing the glass; however, this is not an insurmountable problem, a simple bit of DIY and cushions installed. The Vice is very solid and has the advantage of screw holes to anchor it to the workbench, which I much prefer to the type where you have the clamp to fit it to a bench. It also has another very handy feature of being able to swivel on its axis, really fab for making sure you can work a piece without having to take it out and realign in a new position. I am very pleased with my Vice, it is small and compact, very versatile and made from good quality materials. If you have a hobby that requires a Vice like mine, then I would recommend this one.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Reasonably light weight great for jewellery making.
Definitely not “lightweight” but lighter than a normal vice although it is only 4inches in size. Ideal for jewellery making and especially as it swivels. It has holes so it can be bolted to your work surface if you want to . The only complaint I have is it arrived with quite a lot of rust on it. ONE OF THE BEST FITTING JAWS I HAVE SEEN ON A SMALL VICE . THE WAY THE LOCK ON THE TURNTABLE WORKS IS A BIT CRUDE BUT SEEMS TO WORK OK. Good design
