Good idea, not so good results
This concept has great possibilities. Unfortunately, it will not work in those situations that it cannot be kept in place due to the position of the sore. Probably better luck would be had if the sore is on the inside of a lip between the lip and gum tissue. The 'glue' that holds the pad in place doesn't work as well as I would have hoped. Yes, I did in fact, follow the directions exactly, and have MUCH experience with mouth sores. That is not a great thing to profess, but if there is a product out there to use for a mouth sore, then I have likely tried it at length, with or without success.
Back to the concept of sealing the wound away from all that would irritate it, I completely agree. In those cases where this can be successfully accomplished, the wound will heal much faster, with less pain during that time.
