Inexpensive upgrade to protect old tools in storage
Caps replace the commonly lost black (or green) Ryobi part included with attachments for your weed-whacker. They fit on the top of the bottom attachments, covering the hole from dirt and giving you a plalce to hang by. I find that the loop for hanging is a bit thinner than I'd prefer. While adequately strong for hanging most tools by, they don't feel reassuring with the heavy rotor-triller, and I'm not sure if the plastic may become brittle by winter. I do recommend them as an inexpensive replacement if you lost your original caps (or bought second-hand equipment), as they are far cheaper than OEM. I would recommend for field use they consider a more vibrant color so they don't go missing as easily when changing tools outside, like maybe red plastic.
