Great Modem! - No Problems Setting Up With My Existing Home Network!
This is my 2nd time buying this particular model [D-Link ADSL Modem Router (DSL-520B)]. I had to replace an identical one due to a power surge during a thunder storm recently. My original modem worked without any problems for approximately 5 years before this recent replacement. Perhaps I'll get another 5 years out of this replacement as well! The router has a strong signal all the way out to the boat shed, where the old router would lose signal, this one keeps a strong signal and works great. Good ASDL router within its working life.
Got to replace my old 520B I purchased in 2016. Works as well as the old one. I expect it to last 5 to 7 years like the old one and as reported by many reviewers on the Tube. Works till it doesn't. everything you need comes with this modem for installation,can be mounted on a wall.
modem is fast like turtle to rabbit fast, you will need your pass word and user i.d. from your dsl provider,if you do not have that information your in BIG TROUBLE!! also your provider will tell you this modem is compatable to user dsl they do not recommend it. o well, so you may have fun loading it. note it does seem to run very warm when it mounted flush on a desk, i run mine on it side it runs a lot cooler that way.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
