It's okay
This calculator (TI30ECORS) is listed as battery powered but it's not. It's in fact solar only. Unlike the simple TI-108 It doesn't work at all in normal living room lighting so I recommend it only for outdoor or office use while for home use or in your car etc I recommend buying the battery powered TI30XA, which I ended up buying in addition. Other than that -- just like the TI30XA it's a simple scientific calculator. It does what it's supposed to do.
