Peavey’s PV 115 Main / Stereo Speaker is a rugged speaker cabinet that’s designed to handle a wide range of applications for professional-quality output sound at home or at live events. This 2-way passive speaker is rated to handle 400 watts of program power and 800 watts of peak power, for a powerful sound delivery. The Peavey PV 115 features a trapezoidal enclosure that houses two high-quality speakers designed to capture a full sound frequency range between 56 Hz and 20 kHz, with a sensitivity of +/- 96 dB at an impedance of 8 ohms. There are two 1/4-inch male connections on the back of each cabinet, making them easy to connect to most modern PA systems, with accessories you most likely already own. This shape also creates a 90 x 40-degree constant directivity horn for the sound output, for optimum transfer of sound. Each Peavey PV 115 two-way speaker cabinet has a built-in pole mount receptacle for attaching to heavy-duty stands. Alternatively, the speakers can be set on their side to act as floor monitors on their own, offering users the flexibility of using these speakers in a number of different configurations at live events. The speaker’s electronics include a full crossover network to help maintain the audio integrity of crisp, punchy sound, even at high volume levels. This feature also offers better equalization throughout its frequency range, and Peavey’s exclusive SoundGuard protection protects the tweeter driver continuously. This contributes to better long-term reliability for these heavy-duty bookshelf speakers. This speaker’s dimensions are 33.5 x 16 x 16 inches, and each one weighs 53.5 pounds. Inside the cabinet, there is a 15-inch premium woofer with a 2-3/8-inch voice coil, and an RX14 compression driver with a 1.4-inch titanium diaphram. The front enclosure is a heavy-duty powder-coated metal grille that helps protect these speakers and internal electronics, and the reinforced cabinet and all-black, carpeted housing gives the sleek-looking PV-115 speaker extra durability for years of good service. Great Budget Speakers
