Good, but in this price range find something more modern
These are good speakers. I bought some modern (2015) Infinities, which are somewhat comparable in price and quality. The Bose sound a little muddier, overall. Muddier (slower response in the lower frequencies) in the low range isn't that important, and can be interpreted as warmth. Crispness in the mid-range and highs are better served with modern speakers, with their better, modern materials.
