    Very good

    The earlier episodes are somewhat dated but the later ones are much better. Helen Mirren is excellent and as an ex-employee of The Flying Squad in the 1980s myself, it realistically depicts the way women were treated then and how it was oh, so easy to put The Job before any home or personal life.
