I bought the J6910DW back in 2011 because it prints up to A3 size colour photographs. And of a really good quality print (well I think so, and I'm fussy and particular with my photos) - lasted me until I bought this upgraded version after the rollers on the old one just didn't want to pick up paper from the trays anymore when copying multipage documents. Single feed photograph printing is still okay, but no good when you're printing multiple sheets copying multipage documents. So I now have two machines until I use up all the old ink from the old one printing photographs - not wasting it, and of course the newer cartridges are a different shape! I'd have just replaced the rollers on the old one, but by the time, I'd paid for parts and added fitting charges.... It was just as easy to get a newer one. And as the old one has been so good... I just bought this upgrade. Sad, but this is the world we now live in - easier to replace than fix. Irritating really. But I can't fault the printer .... well all around machine as it scans, copies and faxes too.Read full review

Excellent printer but the ink is very expensive wish it was a lot cheaper. do not use other ink apart from brother. when you buy a product does it really matter where you get the ink from. why do They put restrictions on it. every company out there just want your money What I should’ve done is bought a older printer that works then go on YouTube and learn how to get round it otherwise you’re putting your hand in your pocket all the time

I have an old brother MFC-235C A4 multifunction printer that has never given any trouble. It has never clogged its print heads and always works when required. In August 2016 I had need for an A3 multifunction printer and I bough an Epson WF-7620 which initially was great. However as it is used infrequently issues with print heads blocking started and it cost a fortune in ink as most of it was wasted cleaning print heads. Eventually in December 2017 it got to the point that the print heads would not unclog so its gone to the dump. Hopefully this Brother MFC-J6930 will be just as reliable as my old MFC-235C. So far its been excellent and prints with higher quality and faster speeds than the Epson WF-7620. It works well both in Wi-Fi mode and USB mode, though you can't have both drivers on the same computer. I'm currently using USB connectivity as the internet in my village is a bit dodgy at times and causes the Wi-Fi router to have problems at times. If your looking for a colour inkjet printer / multifunction machine, I rate Brother over Epson any time, with the exception of Epson's photo inkjet printers as they have 6 colour print heads and the difference is noticeable..Read full review

I haven't bought printer for a while. Last time I had bad experience with ink ones and I went for laser. I decided to upgrade as my old laser one strarted to jam paper each time. I upgraded to A3 as I not really needed, but offer I got on this was too good to be missed. £196 base price, 15% off by ebay and then £50 cashback by Brother =£120. I am yet to test photo print, but so far I managed to scan to cloud, print pdf from phone. It is quite good piece of kit. Easy to setup following manual. I had a clogged head for yellow at start, but test print and reported back to printer as not complete markup and auto cleaning resolved the issue. It is for the home use with less than 1 print a day on average.

Excellent value, fast printing, only had this one for a few weeks but I'm well impressed I have had Brother Printers for years, this is the best one yet, big but it suits me 2 Trays so A4 & A3 Paper loaded at the same time, no swapping paper/trays, just need to change the Tray Source in Printer Properties to Tray 2 for the A3 prints

Good quality machine. There are two paper trays one for A4 etc. and one for A3 etc.. Reasonable quality print. Good printer for not much money.

Upgraded from earlier Brother model (5 years old) because I wanted A3 scanning facility. Would always choose Brother for reliability and performance. It's happy on cheap non-original inks too! 'Old' model has outlived TWO Canon printers, both less than 2 years old. Previous Brother still going strong so being passed on to family member!
