Excellent value and sound.
This cable is outstanding value for money and performs as well as cables costing far more. Cables are a perennial source of argument - either you can hear a difference or you cannot. I can hear a difference between the main types of speaker cable i.e. copper, silver coated copper and just silver. My preference is for copper cable as it covers the audio spectrum nicely without being too bright or light at the bass end. However I do not hear any noticeable changes between cables from different manufacturers or price levels: it all seems to be a marketing ploy. This Van Damme cable is spot on in my opinion. Great across the board sound and seems durable. I have replaced expensive and very stiff cables with the Van Damme and do not regret it for one moment. I do not see any need to spend more even in a costly hi-fi system. Highly recommended and a very pleasant discovery in the murky world of cables.
