Simple & Efficent Drayton LP711
I needed a replacement central heating programmer as my old Drayton SM2 had its timing toggles broken & it was very noisy, after contacting (Drayton who very helpful) I decided on the LP711 as I now have a combi boiler so only needed one channel switched its proved a great choice, easy to programme & silent has an advance boost if needed, highly recommended.

Changing control unit.
- uncomplicated fitting ,was able to use original back plate ,although part number was the same i found setting up different as on/off differs from twice a day to three times a day, dragged out a few days,plus re-teaching wife on operations,!!!! Great basic timer
easy to setup, despite the error in the instructions, works well. The error relates to converting from a Horstmann Centaur plus C17 wiring to Drayton LP711. Wire it up as in the wiring diagram and not as in the Timeswitch Terminal Comparisons list supplied. No damage is done if you do wire it according to the TTC list, it just doesn't work, effectively its 'on' and 'off' are reversed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I am a retired heating engineer and in my mind this is the best range of timers and programmers ever made.
These are a really well designed timer and they fit on a universal back plate. Setting them up is very easy, more than I can say for most timers and programmers.
